Working with children is not always easy, I can definitely vouch for that…lol, but I can tell you one thing for sure, it’s extremely rewarding.

As an adult, it’s so easy to forget what it’s like to be a child. All the stresses and responsibilities of adulthood have a way of helping us to forget how to simply let loose and have some fun. We often carry the weight of the world on their shoulders and can sometimes forget to take life a little less seriously from time to time. When I was a young teenager I remember overhearing part of a conversation between my mother and aunties. I was entertaining my young nephews/nieces while the adults were talking away in the kitchen. I remember one of my aunties saying “he has a way of getting on a wavelength with the kids”. Roll on (quite a few years) and I still find it fun to work with children.

Our little ninja classes (4-8 years old) have a great mix of fun and learning. Whilst I agree that children need structure and guidance, they also need to have a little fun along the way and that’s exactly what we do. After all, adulthood comes around all too quickly as I’m sure most of us will agree!
