The Instructor
Dave Shaw has studied various martial arts since childhood winning both the IBA (England v Scotland) and RSKJ Karate championships. currently, a 6th-degree black belt awarded by John Johnston (Adaptive Karate). Dave continues to train with some of the best Karate-ka from the UK and abroad including Peter Consterdine and the British Combat Association.
In addition to Karate, Dave has trained with British and European Thai Boxing champions, holds a level 3 Fitness Coach qualification, is first aid trained and has undertaken an enhanced DBS check allowing him to work with vulnerable adults and children.

All assistant instructors at the club are first aid trained and DBS checked.
